How do I make a payment: You may choose to pay by direct deposit or credit card. Only Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted. When choosing to pay by credit card MPHA guarantees it does not store or handle credit card information. HomHero passes all credit card information to the payment gateway for processing.

Do you accept Groups or Schoolies? No. Groups under the age of 25 and Schoolies are not permitted to book or stay at any of our properties. Any Schoolies bookings or Groups under the age of 25 will be cancelled immediately. This excludes families traveling with children under the age of 18. Please also note that as part of our terms and conditions the person who has signed the booking form must stay at the property. This person becomes solely responsible for the care of the property, its contents and surrounds.

Can I host a wedding, party or function at any of your properties? Our properties are not to be used to host a party, function or gathering of any sort.  A $2,000 fine will be imposed if a party or function is held at the property.

What is the Mornington Peninsula Shires Short Term Rental Code of Conduct?  In May 2018, the Council adopted the Short Stay Rental Accommodation Local Law, providing clear guidelines on the required standards for the operation of this type of accommodation.  Details of the local law can be found here : https://www.mornpen.vic.gov.au/Online-Forms-and-Services/Short-Stay-Rental-Accommodation-Local-Law  We ask that you familiarise yourself with these new laws and adhere to the guidelines.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking? Please contact us directly to discuss as soon as possible. Please read our terms and conditions for further information

If something is damaged or broken what do we do? Please contact our office immediately to report any issues regarding cleaning, breakages or damage. Please do not attempt to rectify any damage yourself. Upon arrival at the premises if you notice any problem or issue of concern please contact us within 2 hrs.

What time is check in? Check in is 3pm. We will outline this to you at the time of booking.

Can I check in early? In most cases the property may have only be vacated that morning, so we ask that you contact us directly to discuss.

What time is check out? Check- out is 10am.

Can I bring along animals and pets? Animals of any kind are NOT permitted in or around the property at any time unless with prior approval. Guests and visitors are not permitted to bring animals to the property.

What do I need to bring? All linen requirements will be outlined to you at the time of booking.

What number do I call if I have and issue after hours? For all after-hours issues please follow the information provided to you on your booking confirmation. Either one of our staff will be able to assist you or alternatively a member of our assigned security company will assist. For all issues during business hours (Monday – Friday 9am-5pm) please contact the office directly.

What do I do with excess rubbish? All rubbish needs to be removed from the house and placed in the outside bins provided. Please do not overfill rubbish bins. Any excess rubbish needs to be cleared from the property.  Waste disposal is available at the Shires waste disposal centres in Rye, Mornington and Tyabb. Alternatively, the Sire also operates small facilities at Sorrento, Flinders and Dromana.
